USS Yorktown Foundation Supports
Patriots Point

Honoring history and heroes in an awe-inspiring setting, Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum is America’s first aircraft carrier museum. Nearly 400,000 people visit Charleston Harbor every year to relive history aboard our legendary ships – and to behold the only Vietnam Naval Support Base Camp in the United States, Medal of Honor Museum, and the Cold War Submarine Memorial. Patriots Point is South Carolina’s leading heritage attraction, and with your help, we can maintain this distinction for generations to come. To preserve the living history of Patriots Point, we need all hands on deck. Although Patriots Point is a state agency, the museum receives no appropriated funding and looks to the USS Yorktown Foundation for assistance. Your donation will help fund exhibit renovations improvements onboard the USS Yorktown; fund new education programs; and fund upgrades to the museum’s technology to keep Patriots Point a dynamic, interactive and imaginative learning experience. We hope you’ll embark on this next journey with us.
